Red Line Crossed: The Case for Proscribing Palestine Action as a Terror-Linked Organisation

We Believe in Israel (WBII), in partnership with Stop The Hate UK and The Shield of David, is proud to introduce our latest campaign booklet: "Red Line Crossed – The Case for Proscribing Palestine Action as a Terror-Linked Organisation."

This timely and rigorously researched publication lays bare the escalating threat posed by Palestine Action—a group that has moved beyond the bounds of lawful protest into the realm of coordinated political violence, ideological extremism, and the glorification of terrorism. Drawing on forensic legal analysis, extensive documentation of criminal conduct, and an unflinching look at the group’s ideological affiliations with proscribed terrorist organisations, the booklet makes the compelling case that Palestine Action now meets the legal threshold for proscription under the Terrorism Act 2000.

Far from promoting peaceful dissent, Palestine Action’s activities include:

  • Acts of vandalism and sabotage against UK-based companies and infrastructure.

  • Targeted intimidation of Jewish communities and individuals.

  • Glorification of terrorist attacks, including public praise for the October 7 Hamas massacre.

  • Public rhetoric and propaganda that align with radical anti-Zionist and antisemitic narratives.

This is not protest—it is politically motivated coercion, designed to destabilise public order, intimidate minorities, and undermine British democratic values under the cover of activism.

Our booklet not only provides an unvarnished account of these realities but also calls for decisive action by the UK Government. We are urging the Home Secretary to act by proscribing Palestine Action and closing the loophole that currently allows extremist mobilisation on British soil.

In the coming weeks, WBII and our partners will launch a coordinated advocacy campaign to support this demand, including a parliamentary event to present our findings, letters to government officials, and calls for a formal enquiry into Palestine Action’s operations.

We invite all supporters of democracy, national security, and communal safety to:

  • Read and share the booklet

  • Write to your MP using our campaign tool

  • Support our work in protecting public order and fighting antisemitic extremism

Together, we can send a clear message: the UK must not tolerate political violence masquerading as activism. The red line has been crossed—now is the time to act.
